Actually, the concept of Project 07 (Sara Raine) came to me much before I had even heard of Elfen Lied.
I dreamt of the ability of extrasensory manipulation, and using it for such... Creative displays of violence. And so the concept of 07 was born: A person who owned these abilities.
But the "Creative displays of violence" could not be performed with a person who owned a working consience. So Sara's mental instability was added to her, along with parents who never gave a fuck.
Thus, I successfully created a psychotic psychic with nothing to lose.
Ergo, she's a perfect killing machine.
